What's an MOT?
The yearly check
your car legally needs.
Once your car is three years old, the law says it needs an MOT every year — a safety and emissions inspection that proves it's roadworthy. Driving without a valid MOT can mean a fine of up to £1,000 and can invalidate your insurance.
